Division
1 (Pre K & Grade K)
·
Up to 6 players on the field: 3 offense, 2 defense, 1 goalie.
·
No referees. Coaches are on the field.
·
Everything is a throw-in. No penalty or corner kicks.
·
No aggressive techniques (slide tackles, pushing, etc.)
·
Half hour games, with breaks to sub/change positions when needed.
·
Basic introduction to soccer.
Division
2 (Grades 1-2)
· 6 players on the field-3 offense, 2 defense, 1 goalie.
·
No referees. Coaches are on the field.
·
Throw-ins, goal kicks, and corner kicks are included in play. No penalty kicks.
·
No aggressive techniques (slide tackles, pushing, etc.)
·
10 minute quarters, 5 minute halftime, 5 minute break between quarters.
·
Step up from division 1 basics.
Division
3 (Grades 3-4)
·
8 players on the field.
·
Min of 1 referee. No coaches on the field. They must stay on the sidelines.
·
Throw-ins, goal kicks, corner kicks and penalty kicks are included in play.
·
No aggressive techniques (slide tackles, pushing, etc.)
·
Goalie can do goal kicks.
·
10 minute quarters, 5 minute break between quarter.
·
Should have good understanding of soccer rules and
techniques. Reinforcing for more advanced play.
Division
4 (Grades 5-6)
·
11 players on the field- 3 offense, 4 midfields, 3 defense, 1 goalie.
·
2 referees.
·
No coaches on the field; they must stay on the sidelines.
·
Throw-ins, goal kicks, corner kicks and penalty kicks are included in play.
·
10 minute quarters, 5 minute breaks between quarters.
·
Goalies can do goal kicks and punt in after pickup.
Division
5 (Grades 7-12)
·
11 players on the field- 3 offense, 4 midfields, 3 defense, 1 goalie.
·
2 referees.
·
No coaches on the field. They must stay on the sidelines.
·
20 minute halves, 5 minute halftime.
·
Throw-ins, goal kicks, corner kicks and penalty kicks are included in play.
·
Goalies can punt, do goal kicks, etc. Regulation soccer.
