Employment Opportunities at Springville Youth


Springville Youth Inc. is looking for:


Concession Stand Staff

  • Games start the middle of May (5/14, weather permitting) ending around July 4th.
  • Games are M-F, some Saturdays.
  • Must arrive by 5:40 pm and usually finish about 8:00 pm.
  • Duties include: food prep (hot dogs), taking orders, serving 
    food 
    and snacks, handling money, closing up in the evening (including gathering garbage from cans at each field and taking to the dumpster).


Baseball Umpires

  • Starting in mid-May until around July 4th.
  • One game each night during the week, possibly more on weekends. May work with another umpire or by themselves. 
  • *  An umpire training session is typically held before the season begins. However, participants are expected to already have a basic understanding of baseball.

 

Soccer helpers

  • Pre-season help needed starting April 25
  • Includes organizing equipment, setting up goals, and lining fields.
  • During the season, workers are expected at the fields Tuesdays and Thursdays from 5–8:30 PM to handle setup and takedown (flags and goals), assist with supplies and basic needs during games, and maintain field conditions.
  • *  Post-season duties on June 30 involve collecting and storing equipment and taking down goals and nets.

 

Soccer Referees

  • Scheduled on Tuesdays and Thursdays for games running from        6-7 PM and 7-8 PM.
  • Games start May 19th (weather permitting) and ending June 30th.
  • A referee training session is typically held before the season begins. However, participants are expected to already have a basic understanding of soccer.

Lifeguards

  • Must have lifeguarding certification
  • Pool opens early in June through Labor Day
